Has it already been three decades since these were built?

The year was 1991. Despite global events around the world, it was a simpler time for most people as the internet finally became available for commercial use and movies such as Terminator 2: Judgement Day and The Silence of the Lambs graced big screens everywhere.

It's hard to digest that 1991 was 30 years ago now that we're in the year 2021. For most of us, the 1990s still feel a few years ago, especially when you think about cars. These cars turned three decades old this year, and wear their age very well.

1991 GMC Syclone

GMC unleashed the Syclone onto the public in 1991 as the production truck in the world, at the time. This was back in a time before auto makers started stuffing their sports car and muscle car engines into pickup platforms. However, even for the time, this was fast for more than being a 'fast truck', it was fast vehicle that could hang with performance vehicles of its time. In fact, Car and Drive pitted a Ferrari 348ts against the Syclone, and the truck won!

1991 Nissan Fairlady 300ZX

The Nissan Fairlady 300ZX is an iconic sports car ready to catch anyone's eye. This example is a Fairlady in our inventory is powered by a twin turbo 3.0 liter engine attached to an automatic transmission with overdrive. A/C, intermittent wipers, cruise control, 3 separate transmission modes for different driving styles, and sport seats are all included on this model. 100% legally imported from Japan.

1991 Toyota MR2 Turbo

The 1991 Toyota MR2 Turbo was designed as a nimble, small car with a mid-engine, you could get for $20K off the Toyota dealership in 1991. This was a few years into the second generation of the MR2, and was a lot less boxy than the first generation. The style feels a little dated now, but it was progressive in the early 1990s.

1991 Ford Mustang

The 1991 Ford Mustang was quite a different design than the Mustang we know today. This body style is quite popular among drag racers for its sturdy rearend and more desirable weight distribution - plus, you can throw a lot of modifications at the 5.0-liter, and it won't flinch. This particular example is another pick from our inventory, and is a Mustang LX SSP with only 67K on the clock, and looks spectacular.

1991 BMW M3

The 1991 M3 marked the end of the first generation of production of the high-performance variant of the 3-series. Easily one of the most popular German sports cars, the first run of the M3 continued to take down cars well beyond its time.
