Watch A Cop Try To Stop A Jeep Wrangler 392 Thief

The thief took the cop on one wild ride!

Being a police officer is a dangerous job, something that’s easily forgotten by people who want to nitpick their every move. A recent example of what seemed to be a routine traffic stop of a high-powered Jeep shows how quickly things can go sideways, which might be why when you get pulled over officers might not be overly friendly.

Check out a Ferrari that’s really an old Toyota here.

The incident, which happened in Ferndale, Michigan, was caught on both bodycam and dashcam, so we get to see multiple angles. What sparked the traffic stop was officers clocking the snarling Wrangler going over 30 mph beyond the speed limit. That’s enough to get any cop’s attention and earn you a ticket, if not a trip to jail.

Behind the wheel of the stolen Jeep was 25-year-old Donald Brezzell. Police say he presented a fake driver’s license and other falsified documents in an effort to throw them off. People have pointed out the tag on the Wrangler appears to be what manufacturers use, raising questions about how the man got his hands on it since the Jeep was stolen from a private citizen, not a factory lot.

As one officer tries climbing inside the Jeep, Brezzell hits the accelerator and takes off, the officer hanging partway out of the door. That’s a scary situation that could end badly for everyone involved. Thankfully, the officer was able to hold on, instead of being thrown out of the vehicle and possibly killed.

The other officer caught up with the Jeep after it stopped in a nearby parking lot. Both cops struggled with Brezeell as the man pressed on the accelerator, but the transmission wasn’t in a drive gear. Then, as he was being arrested, the guy played victim.
