With temperatures climbing people are ready to get out and go for a cruise through town or maybe out on the open road. Take it to your local car show or any organized cruise where it will make a great impression.

This wagon has been built to drive, not be some trailer queen. It has a 327ci V8 mated up with a TH350 automatic transmission, plus a 3.08 rear gear. While you probably won’t want to take it to the drag strip, this Chevy will scoot quick enough to keep you happy. Plus, Flowmaster mufflers add a nice tone you’ll want to hear with the windows down. The seller says this wagon runs “exceptionally well” so you don’t have to worry about doing a bunch of work before being able to really enjoy it.

While not perfect, the body panels are all straight and the white paint is free of any major blemishes. That and the brightwork shine up nicely, so you can get this ride all gussied up for a local show and stand next to it with pride. Brand new Billet Specialties wheels and the redline tires and tucked in nicely, thanks to the four-corner air ride suspension.

Adding to the appeal of this Impala Wagon is a flashy red interior. While it has a lot of factory elements, you don’t have to suffer through this summer thanks to brand new vintage-style AC. A new RetroSound radio is faithful to the original aesthetics while allowing you to enjoy your tunes without the hassle of a factory-original unit. There’s seating for up to nine people, and everyone is going to want to go for a ride, but who can blame them?

Quite a few of the mechanicals on this Chevy are new, like the upgraded aluminum radiator which has been painted black. The front disc brakes have been recently redone, along with the mater cylinder, brake boost, brake lines, upgraded proportioning valve, water pump, and wiper motor.

Not everyone loves wagons, but if you do you might consider grabbing this 1964 Chevy Impala Wagon for a fun-filled summer. GR Classics is handling the sale.
