Michael Strahan's name moves cars on its own, but the better story here is the paperwork around it. A 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 that Strahan bought new is live on Bring a Trailer through Thursday, November 5 at 1:54 p.m. ET. It has 347 miles, a one-of-one Dark Green paint job and a serial number built around the jersey he wore for the New York Giants. As of Monday morning the bid sat at $162,836, which happens to match the total printed on the original window sticker, according to the listing.
The Number on the Dash
The listing says the car carries serial number 00092 and a plaque under the passenger-side air vent that reads #92, a nod to the number Strahan wore for his entire 15-year career with the Giants, from 1993 to 2007. That number is not just a trivia point. The Giants retired No. 92 at halftime of a home game against the Eagles on November 28, 2021, and Strahan finished with a franchise-record 141.5 sacks, including 22.5 in 2001, which was an NFL single-season record at the time. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2014 and was a captain on the team that won Super Bowl XLII, 17-14 over the Patriots, in his final game.
Why the Paint Matters
The Demon 170 was Dodge's send-off for the Challenger, and only about 3,300 were built, a figure we cited when we covered the ex-Kevin Hart Demon 170 that drew bidding above $400,000 in 2025. What sets this one apart is the Jailbreak program. As we reported in 2023, Dodge quietly offered 40 one-of-one paint colors to a small group of customers, and each color was to be built only once. A Dodge spokesperson told Motor Authority the invitations went to "select individuals" based on recent Charger and Challenger purchases and brand affiliation, and that the option is no longer offered.
The listing says this car is the only Demon 170 finished in Dark Green, and that the under-hood plaques read "01 of 01" and "Last Call" with Strahan named as the owner. It also says the window sticker notes the car was "built especially for Michael Strahan" and shows delivery to Teterboro Dodge in Little Ferry, New Jersey. Strahan's name did surface in enthusiast chatter about Jailbreak recipients back in 2023, but that list was never confirmed by Dodge. We could not independently confirm the "only Dark Green" claim, so treat it as the seller's statement for now, and note that the Jailbreak documentation and window sticker included in the sale are what back it up.
The Car Itself
Under the Air-Grabber hood is the supercharged 6.2-liter Hemi, rated at 900 horsepower and 810 lb-ft on pump gas and up to 1,025 horsepower and 945 lb-ft on E85. Power goes to the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic. The listing says more than $88,000 in options were ordered, including the Premium Group, Lacks Enterprises carbon-fiber wheels, Black Alcantara and Laguna leather seats, and Demonic Red seatbelts, for a sticker total of $162,836. The Dark Green is paired with Satin Black graphics on the hood, roof and decklid.
The car is offered on dealer consignment in Pennsylvania with a clean Montana title and a damage-free Carfax report, which lists it as a one-owner corporate vehicle.
What to Know Before You Bid
The celebrity link is the whole point of this car, so the documents deserve a close read. Go through the photo gallery for the window sticker and Jailbreak paperwork, and ask the seller in the comments about anything that is unclear. Some commenters have asked about the front end of the car, and the seller has replied that no parts are missing. It is also worth thinking about how much a famous first owner adds in a market where low-mile Demon 170s have already been bid up hard. We looked at that question in our piece on whether a celebrity name drove the price on Steve McQueen's Harley-Davidson.
