Bid On This Beautifully Restored 1966 Ford Mustang Convertible

What better way to own Ford's iconic pony car than a completely restored GT drop top?

Due to the sheer number of first-gen Ford Mustangs produced, these cars are always readily available to today's collectors, but few stand out as much as this fully restored 1966 Ford Mustang GT Convertible, which is up for grabs through Awesome Joe Auctions. Aside from its impeccable build quality, this '66 Mustang also stands out with a sporty and distinctive color combination.

Following an intense restoration, this Mustang shows extremely well from its perfectly clean engine compartment to its plaid-lined trunk. What really makes this Mustang GT stand out is the Silver Frost Metallic paint job with bright red racing stripes and side stripes. The Magnum 500 wheels and redline tires finish off the classic style. While it's difficult to identify an original Mustang GT, this one is equipped with all the telltale features including the fog lights, five-gauge cluster, trumpet exhaust outlets and front disc brakes.

Things get even better inside with an all-red Pony interior accented with wood trim, and this car is equipped with bucket seats, a full-length center console and a black power-retracting soft top. Under the hood, this Mustang GT is powered by an A-code 289 CID V8, and that is backed by a three-speed automatic transmission.

Bidding on this restored '66 Mustang convertible ends on March 17, so be sure you're registered to bid for a shot of this restored pony car. If this Mustang isn't quite your taste, though, Awesome Joe Auctions has listings for just about any vehicle you could ever want and new auctions are being added all the time.
