Hennessey’s 1,000-hp Exorcist Camaro gets a striking NASCAR-themed wrap and performance to match its outrageous design.
The Exorcist is back—and it’s louder, faster, and flashier than ever. Hennessey Performance Engineering has reintroduced its 1,000-horsepower Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Exorcist with a bold new NASCAR-inspired look, blending Texas-sized power with track-ready style.
While the performance figures remain jaw-dropping, the latest iteration of the Exorcist trades subtlety for spectacle with a custom livery designed to evoke the raw attitude of America’s top stock car racers. Featuring a vivid flame motif, bold yellow and red graphics, the number 24 emblazoned on multiple panels, and sponsor-style decals, this version of the Exorcist is more visually aggressive than ever. Tinted windows, black Y-spoke wheels, red brake calipers, and a large rear wing complete the transformation.
Underneath the flashy exterior is Hennessey’s familiar formula for supercharged mayhem. A heavily modified 6.2-liter V8 pushes out 1,000 brake horsepower and 966 lb-ft of torque, thanks to enhancements including a high-flow supercharger, ported cylinder heads, upgraded valves, and a high-performance induction system. That brute force launches the Exorcist from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.1 seconds and through the quarter mile in 9.57 seconds at 147 mph—performance figures that rival modern hypercars.
Hennessey released a short video showcasing the car on a closed course, offering a glimpse of the Camaro’s ferocious acceleration and throaty exhaust note. While it may look like a race car, the Exorcist remains road legal—though its appearance and power suggest it belongs more on the track than Main Street.
The Exorcist originally debuted as a direct answer to Dodge’s Challenger SRT Demon. Now, with this NASCAR-themed update, Hennessey has once again proven that extreme horsepower and wild style can go hand in hand.
