eBay Find: Wide-Body 2009 Nissan GT-R Premium

A wide-body JDM car that commands attention with stunning looks and potent performance.

Derived from the iconic Skyline GT-R that ceased production in 2002, Nissan made the GT-R its own standalone model in 2007. Retaining the Godzilla nickname given to the Skyline back in the '80s, the GT-R is still produced today and is a highly sought-after among enthusiasts all over. Although it isn't rare to see one pull up to a car show or local meet, people still tend to flock toward the Japanese sports car. Not only are these cars incredibly attractive, they also pack quite a punch in the performance department. We stumbled across this 2009 Nissan GT-R Premium wide-body on eBay that made us stop dead in our tracks.

This GT-R Premium is cloaked in the beautiful hue of Monterey Blue, a color found on the Lamborghini Murcielago. Adding to its aggressive appearance is the addition of the authentic Liberty Walk kit that has been customized to be a 1 of 1 by AMS Autowerks out of New Jersey. A layer of Xpel film was added across the entire front, fenders, and doors to keep the car protected from any debris or rocks that may kick up on the road. In addition, 2015+ GT-R headlights and tail lights were installed for upgraded lighting. Further complementing the exterior is a custom one-piece carbon fiber LB lip up front and an ARP500 carbon fiber rear spoiler. Last but not least, Rotiform LHR wheels sit on all four corners and are wrapped with Michelin Super Sport rubber.

Tucked inside the engine bay is a decked 2013 V238 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 engine equipped with an abundance of performance upgrades that make it anything but factory. The turbos still remain in stock housings, but they do feature upgraded internals. Weisco pistons feature upgraded coated wrist pins along with a balanced and honed stock crank. Other mechanical highlights and upgrades include Carrillo rods, APR bolts, L19 head and main studs, ACL race bearings, a GT1R deep oil pan, a Diamond polished oil pump piston, Conetic head gasket, CNC-ported head intake and exhaust, Brian Crower valves, valve seats, brand new bell housing, a shimmed to spec ATO harmonic balancer, and all new seals. In addition, it features GSC parts including S2 cams, springs, and titanium retainers. Power is shifted down through a 2012 automatic transmission with a Shepps 2.5 upgrade that has been on the car since 2017 but never launched. Exhaust exits via a Meistershaft cat-back exhaust. To adjust ride height, this GT-R sits on an AirLift 3H air suspension with height sensors. With everything combined, the car makes 600-all-wheel-horsepower on 93 octane pump gas and was bumped up to 700-awhp when fed e85. This car has been tuned to run on flex fuel.

This GT-R has been professionally detailed inside and out, and it has been meticulously cared for by its previous owner with all servicing up to date.
