There are few sights in the automotive world more stirring than a red Ferrari with its top down, and this 2018 Ferrari 488 Spider delivers that moment in textbook form. The open-air supercar is currently up for auction on Cars & Bids, where it's showing approximately 7,000 miles, a clean Carfax report, and a factory spec sheet that reads like a Ferrari enthusiast's wish list.
The Right Color, The Right Spec
Finished in Rosso Corsa over a beige interior, this 488 wears the most iconic color combination Maranello has to offer, the kind of pairing that never goes out of style. According to the Ferrari specification plate shown in the listing, factory equipment includes 20-inch forged wheels, carbon ceramic brakes, a sport exhaust system, a front-axle lift system, front skid plates, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, and the power-retractable hardtop that makes the Spider such a joy on a sunny day.
Inside, Daytona-style seats, leather upholstery, carbon fiber interior trim, a carbon fiber steering wheel with LED shift lights, and a premium Hi-Fi sound system create a cockpit that feels every bit as special as the bodywork. The seller reports no notable modifications, and paint protection film has been applied to all of the body panels, a smart move that should help keep that deep red finish looking its best for years to come.
Twin-Turbo Fury
Ferrari introduced the 488 for the 2016 model year as the successor to the beloved 458, and it marked a turning point for the brand's mid-engine V8 cars. Displacement went down, but a pair of turbochargers sent output soaring. The 3.9-liter twin-turbocharged V8 in this car is rated at 661 horsepower and 561 lb-ft of torque, all of it sent to the rear wheels through a lightning-quick 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Engineers also managed to make the 488 slightly lighter than the car it replaced, while designers sharpened the styling with bigger intakes and more aggressive aero. Production wrapped up in 2019, making the 488 Spider an increasingly appealing modern classic for collectors who want turbocharged thrust with the wind in their hair. Driven, Documented, and Cared For
This isn't a garage queen that's been left to sit. The seller purchased the car in June 2024 and has added roughly 3,500 miles since, and the attached Carfax shows a consistent record of maintenance. Most recently, in February 2026 at 6,805 miles, the car received an engine oil and filter change, new spark plugs, a new serpentine belt, a brake fluid flush, and a maintenance inspection. Earlier records include regular oil services, additional brake fluid flushes, replacement hood shocks, and a new battery.
The sale also includes two keys, the owner's manual, a factory battery tender, and a factory car cover. The Ferrari is being offered by a private-party seller in Westlake, Ohio, with a clean Ohio title.
