Modified 2020 GT500 Rips Through The Streets Of California

This incredible Shelby GT500 Mustang is a sight to behold with over 1000 horsepower and tons of awesome looks.

Ford has been the frontline in mass-produced American performance ever since the introduction of the Mustang in1964. This is due primarily to the original 'Stang' success in its first production year in 1965, which saw a sales figure of nearly 1,000,000 units. As far as performance goes, however, the original Pony car was not much to write home about due to many different factors. This is where a man that we all know and love comes into play, Mr. Carroll Shelby. This man and his team at Shelby American single-handedly turned what was little more than a mule into a potent racehorse.

That's precisely where this incredible 2020 Shelby GT500 enters the picture. However, this is not a stock example of America's favorite pony car. Instead, under the hood of this fantastic car is a way more considerable throttle body, upgraded fuel injectors, and a gigantic ported supercharger, and an E85 tune. This ridiculous combination makes over 1,000 horsepower, though the owner is withholding the actual number. Despite the secret nature of the figures, there isn't any doubt that this beast is making it somewhere in that ballpark. Of course, that performance is accompanied by some incredible looks with a glossy red metallic paint which shows off the black racing stripes and big spoiler.

Holding the car up is a set of racing-inspired wheels and fat drag radials, which wrap the back like a steak burrito served with some piping hot apple sauce. The interior is also pretty nifty with a beautiful carbon fiber dash and inserts package. This sets the mood for some free-spirited driving, and the racing seats make sure that you're secure and ready to take on the road. Driving down the road in this car is very difficult if you don't know what you're doing, as Sean, from Autotopia LA, found out. Grip is hard to maintain, and that power level is quite a lot to handle for any driver. Overall, this is a fantastic car with an incredible builder at the helm of this project.
