Chevrolet’s 2026 Corvette ZR1X Quail Silver Limited Edition debuts with 1,250 hp, under-two-second acceleration, and fewer than 100 planned units.
Chevrolet has announced a special limited-run version of its most powerful production Corvette to date — the 2026 Corvette ZR1X Quail Silver Limited Edition. The exclusive model will debut during Monterey Car Week at The Quail, a showcase for some of the world’s most coveted automobiles.
The ZR1X sits at the top of Chevrolet’s performance lineup, pairing an LT7 twin-turbocharged V8 driving the rear wheels with a front-mounted electric motor. The hybrid powertrain produces a combined 1,250 horsepower, allowing the car to accelerate from zero to 60 mph in under two seconds. Recently, the ZR1X set an American production car lap record at Germany’s Nürburgring Nordschleife.
The Quail Silver Limited Edition pays tribute to the Inca Silver paint offered on the first-generation Corvette in 1959. This modern interpretation, dubbed Blade Silver Matte, marks the first time in six decades that Chevrolet has applied a factory matte finish to a Corvette. Additional exterior details include orange brake calipers, carbon flash-painted mirrors, and black exhaust tips.
Chevrolet will build fewer than 100 examples, each configured as a ZR1X 3LZ convertible. The interior features a Sky Cool and Medium Ash Gray combination accented by Habanero trim, a color scheme that will be available across all 2026 Corvette models.
Pricing for the ZR1X starts at $207,395 before destination charges, bringing the delivered price to at least $209,290. Chevrolet underscored the car’s value by comparing its performance to hypercars costing more than ten times as much — all of which post slower acceleration times.
With limited production, heritage-inspired styling, and record-setting performance, the Quail Silver ZR1X represents a blend of Corvette tradition and cutting-edge engineering aimed squarely at the supercar elite.
