The Brabus 900 XLP represents one of the most extreme reinterpretations of the Mercedes-AMG G 63 to date, transforming the luxury SUV into a high-powered pickup without sacrificing refinement. What began as an already capable and upscale off-road vehicle has been rebuilt into a dedicated hauling machine that still retains premium materials and advanced technology.
The conversion replaces the traditional SUV body with a pickup configuration and adds portal axles, a raised suspension, a winch, oversized tires, and new wheels. Additional exterior lighting is integrated throughout the vehicle to support off-road use, reinforcing its purpose beyond paved roads. Despite the functional upgrades, the truck remains firmly rooted in luxury.
Finished in a gray-toned exterior with extensive black accents, the Brabus 900 XLP features widened fender flares, revised side skirts, and a reworked front bumper with extra daytime running lights. Lighting continues above the windshield, complemented by a roof rack, a sculpted hood, and a revised grille bearing Brabus branding. Carbon fiber elements appear throughout the exterior, while illuminated, automatically deploying side steps assist with entry and exit.
Inside, red accents contrast against Brabus-specific leather upholstery with custom stitching. Carbon fiber trim is also present in the cabin, blending with the G-Class’ familiar layout. Standard equipment includes dual digital displays, ambient lighting, power-adjustable seats with memory functions, and a sunroof, maintaining the luxury expected from the platform.
Power comes from a heavily reworked engine. Displacement increases from 4.0 liters to 4.5 liters, paired with new turbochargers and upgraded components. Output reaches 887 brake horsepower, equivalent to 662 kilowatts, with torque rated at 922 pound-feet. Performance figures previously shared by the tuner list a 0–62 mph time of 4.4 seconds and a top speed of 130 mph.
Examples of the Brabus 900 XLP have appeared over the years with prices exceeding $800,000. A current build, shown by @sbxcars on Instagram, is reportedly offered through an online auction and is seeking a new owner.
