This Cobra is sinister when it comes to both looks and performance.

Those familiar with Shelby Cobras can vouch for the excellent reputation held by Backdraft Racing for their high-quality, factory-built replica cars. Nostalgic Motoring Company, an official dealer for Backdraft, is excited to offer the opportunity to take home this brand new 1965 Backdraft Cobra RT4B replica with plenty of attitude.

Made out of hand-laid fiberglass, the body is slathered in a glossy Black Magic with a Magnetic Grey stripe outlined silver and broken up by a red center stripe. A paint protection film was installed to guard the paint against any road debris. The front end features LED headlights along with smoked LED turn signals and taillights, and black 18-inch Halibrand-style wheels sit on all four corners. For safety, the car features a stainless-steel roll bar and Cam lock-style SABELT seatbelts.

The heart of the beast is a Roush 427cui V8 engine that pumps out a healthy 550-horsepower shifted down to the rear wheels by a Tremec TKO 600 five-speed manual transmission. Keeping temperatures in check is an aluminum radiator equipped with thermostatically controlled electric fan. Gases flow through Ceramic-coated headers and exit via stainless-steel side pipes. Stopping is provided by BMW-sourced 4-wheel power disc brakes clamped by red-painted brake calipers.

When it comes to handling, more BMW-sourced components were installed including a full independent rear suspension with fully adjustable coil over dampers and a front suspension with coil over front struts.

Peek inside the Cobra to a black leather and Alcantara interior with red double diamond stitching. Wide seats allow for plenty of comfort and space, and extra leg room not an issue. The dashboard is made out of carbon fiber and features Auto X red-faced gauges and a SABELT leather steering wheel. Premium carpet was laid down over the floor with carpet overlays for both the driver and passenger side.

Searching for the perfect car to spend your hard-earned money on can be a tough decision, but nobody can go wrong with an iconic '65 Shelby Cobra replica from Backdraft Racing. With a menacing appearance backed by potent performance, this beautiful beast surely won't last long on the market. The price is unlisted, but feel free to contact Nostalgic Motoring and submit an offer. In fact, these Cobra replicas can be special-ordered by specific color, equipment, and features.
