Just about everyone loves the sinister look on a truck, and this one wears it quite well. Skipping out on any brightwork and instead wearing a nice coat of black paint, this Syclone also has the factory black exterior trim pieces to make it menacing. The original red badges are in excellent shape, clearly announcing this isn’t just another pickup truck. Factory alloy wheels, side skirts, and a front spoiler accentuate the sporty appearance of this ride. There’s also a tonneau cover over the bed, so you can throw your gear back there and not have to worry about anything getting dirty or being exposed to the elements.

Of course, the star of the show is that potent 4.3-liter turbocharged V6. That puts on tap a nice 280-horsepower, but even more impressive is the maximum 350 lb.-ft. of torque that will get you moving in a hurry. Not only can this truck do 0-60 in 4.9 seconds, which was quick back in the day, it also hits a top speed of 126 mph. There’s an intercooler to keep the air getting fed to the cylinders cool and dense.

You get plenty of standard amenities with this truck, which came from the factory, so it’s pretty nice to drive. Power steering and four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes make it easier to handle, especially at higher speeds. Great comfort comes from the factory air conditioning, floor mats, AM/FM stereo with cassette player, cruise control, tilt steering wheel adjustment, deep tinted windows, and bucket seats.

The GMC Syclone has become an automotive legend, thanks to its factory-custom looks and strong performance. Production was capped at just 3,000 units during the 1991-1992 run, and numerous haven’t survived, so grab this before values start to climb again.
