A rare 2010 Lamborghini Murciélago LP 650-4 Roadster with factory press credentials is being offered with an estimated value between $450,000 and $550,000, bringing to market one of the most significant open-top Murciélago variants ever produced. Built as the promotional example for Lamborghini’s limited LP 650-4 Roadster run, the car represents a unique intersection of performance, provenance, and documented factory history.

Lamborghini introduced the Murciélago LP 650-4 Roadster in 2009 as an exclusive evolution of the LP 640-4 Roadster. The update centered on an enlarged 6.5-liter V12 engine producing 641 horsepower and 487 pound-feet of torque, paired with the six-speed e-Gear automated manual transmission. While the model retained a top speed of 205 mph, acceleration improved significantly, with zero-to-60 mph achieved in 3.4 seconds. Production was strictly limited to 50 customer cars, each finished in Grigio Telesto with Nero Alcantara interiors and distinctive Arancio accenting.

This particular example carries even greater significance, as it is designated No. 00 of 50. It served as Lamborghini’s official marketing and press vehicle used to promote the LP 650-4 Roadster globally. The car is believed to be among the final vehicles tested by legendary Lamborghini test driver and brand ambassador Valentino Balboni, whose signature appears inside the front hood.
Factory options include carbon ceramic brakes, 18-inch Hermera wheels, a Kenwood navigation system with backup camera, and extensive carbon fiber trim throughout the cabin and exterior. The car was purchased directly from the factory in 2009 by the consignor’s father and has remained in single-family ownership since new.

Over the course of its life, the roadster participated in multiple European supercar tours, including the Grande Giro rally celebrating Lamborghini’s 50th anniversary in 2013. The odometer shows 24,605 miles, accumulated largely during these long-distance drives.

Maintenance history reflects consistent care, capped by a comprehensive engine-out service completed in December 2025. That work included a new clutch, replacement of spark plugs, and a full fluid change. The car is offered with its owner’s books, soft top, and extensive documentation, including photographic records from its tours.

As the factory-appointed representative of one of Lamborghini’s most exclusive Murciélago variants, this LP 650-4 Roadster stands apart even among limited-production supercars, combining rarity, usability, and a well-documented history. See it here.
