A track-ready Dodge Challenger Trans Am TA2 race car built by Howe Racing Enterprises is currently up for bid on Bring a Trailer, offering a rare shot at grassroots-level Trans Am competition without the wait list that usually comes with buying a turnkey TA2 car. Chassis H4040 rolled out of Howe's Beaverton, Michigan shop wearing composite Challenger bodywork over a tube-frame racing structure, the same recipe every TA2 competitor uses to keep speeds close and costs down. Stevens-Miller Racing fielded the car for the 2022 season before it passed to Rhett Barkau Racing, which ran it for a full season of national-level TA2 racing and dropped in the Katech-built 6.2-liter V8 that still powers it today.
