Rally fans who never got a shot at a Lancia 037 now have a rare second chance. Broad Arrow Auctions will offer this 2025-built Kimera EVO37, number 018 of just 37, as Lot 158 at The Zoute Concours Auction on Friday, October 9, 2026, with an estimate of €950,000 to €1,150,000.

A Modern Rally Legend With Real Pedigree
The Lancia Rally 037 earned its place in history as the last rear-wheel-drive car to win the World Rally Championship, taking the 1983 title with Walter Röhrl and Markku Alén against the all-conquering Audi Quattro. Four decades later, a team of rally veterans set out to reimagine it, and the Kimera EVO37 was the result.
Kimera Automobili was founded in 2021, but its roots run straight into Lancia's golden age. Among the developers are Sergio Limone, who led development of the original 037 as well as the Delta S4 and Delta HF, and Claudio Lombardi, who engineered Lancia's rally engines before moving on to Scuderia Ferrari's race-winning Formula One cars in the 1990s. Former rally driver Luca Betti leads the operation from Villa Kimera in Cuneo, Italy, roughly 100 kilometers south of Turin, where the original 037 was built.
505 Horsepower, Rear-Wheel Drive, Three Pedals
Like the original, the EVO37 starts with a donor Beta Montecarlo chassis that is stripped, re-engineered and topped with a lightweight carbon fiber body. Under it sits a 2.1-liter, 16-valve inline-four built from scratch by Italtecnica. It keeps the supercharger of the original 037 specification and adds a turbocharger, making a claimed 505 PS and 550 Nm of torque.
All of it goes to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual from Dana Graziano. Kimera claims a zero-to-100 km/h time in the region of three seconds and an estimated top speed of 310 km/h. Öhlins double-wishbone suspension and Brembo carbon ceramic brakes with four-piston calipers at each corner complete the hardware. Modern touches like LED lighting, anti-lock brakes, air conditioning and a digital rearview mirror take the edge off the competition-car character without dulling it.
Number 018: A Lamborghini-Inspired Spec
Every EVO37 was commissioned individually, and this one pays tribute to another Italian icon. It is finished in Kimera Luci del Bosco, the deep metallic brown seen on some of the finest Lamborghini Miura and Countach examples, and the gold wheels nod to the same specification. Inside, beige leather covers the carbon bucket seats, and a special-request wooden shift knob tops the exposed shifter.
Built in March 2025, the car had covered just 237 kilometers when it was cataloged. Kimera CEO Luca Betti says the company is ready to welcome the next caretaker, and the factory will help with importation and registration in any European country or the U.S. Kimera has also offered to amend the specification to the new owner's wishes, so the buyer can keep this distinctive color combination or craft a one-off EVO37 of their own.
Original 037s, in competition or Stradale form, are exceedingly rare. This EVO37 offers a way to experience that rally-bred formula with contemporary engineering, and without the wait of building a new one. Please note that registration may present additional requirements in some jurisdictions, and the lot is subject to VAT on the full purchase price.
