Few grand tourers wear the Pininfarina badge as gracefully as the Ferrari 330 GT 2+2, and this 1965 Series I example, offered on Bring a Trailer and ending October 16, looks like a very good one. After 26 years with the same owner, it is ready for its next chapter, with bidding at $175,000 at the time of writing.

Chassis 6387 was completed on October 7, 1964, and delivered new to the United States through Luigi Chinetti Motors of Greenwich, Connecticut. That is as blue-chip a starting point as an American-market Ferrari can have. The seller bought it in 2000 and kept it through a restoration between 2016 and 2018 by ItalTech GT of Downey, California, with body and paint handled by Bell's Autosport of Huntington Beach.

The work paid off. The car earned Gold Awards at the Concorso Italiano in both 2018 and 2019, and the judging sheets come with the sale. Originally delivered in Azzurro, it now wears red over black leather, a classic Ferrari pairing that suits the 330's long hood and elegant greenhouse.

Colombo V12 and a Proper Gearbox

Power comes from the 4.0-liter Colombo V12, backed by a four-speed manual transmission with electronic overdrive. Four-wheel disc brakes, 15-inch Borrani wire wheels, an ANSA quad-exit exhaust, and the Series I's quad headlights round out the details. Inside, a Becker Europa AM/FM radio and lap belts keep things period-correct.

Recent mechanical attention should be reassuring for the next keeper. Service in 2026 included resealing the engine, adding an electronic ignition system, and installing a new timing chain, clutch disc, and pressure plate. The Weber carburetors and brake boosters were rebuilt, and the fluids were serviced. The odometer reads 80,000 miles, roughly 8,600 of which were added under the current owner, so this is a Ferrari that has clearly been enjoyed rather than stored.

A Landmark Pininfarina Design

Penned by Tom Tjaarda at Pininfarina, the 330 GT debuted at the Brussels Motor Show in early 1964 as the successor to the 330 America. It brought a longer wheelbase and a wider grille, and it gave Ferrari buyers a V12 that could carry four people in comfort. The Series I is also the one that stands out for its distinctive quad-headlight face, before the facelifted Series II arrived in 1965.

The sale includes tools, factory literature, service records, the Concorso Italiano awards and judging sheets, and a clean California title in the seller's name. For collectors who love pop-up-headlight Ferraris like the 308 GTSi or the 328 GTS, this front-engine V12 is where the story gets even more interesting.
