Supercar Blondie Lists Brabus-Tuned 800 HP G-Wagen for Auction

A highly customized Mercedes-AMG G63 known for its bold styling and extreme performance is heading to auction, bringing together celebrity ownership, luxury design and powerful engineering in one distinctive package.

The vehicle belongs to Alex Hirschi, widely recognized as Supercar Blondie and the founder of SBX Cars. Hirschi, whose automotive media platform reaches a massive global audience, is offering the modified SUV through the SBX Cars online auction marketplace. The vehicle’s unique appeal comes not only from its dramatic upgrades but also from its connection to one of the most influential personalities in the automotive world.

The SUV is based on a 2019 Mercedes-AMG G63 that has been extensively modified by German tuner Brabus. The company has built a reputation over several decades for pushing Mercedes-Benz vehicles beyond their factory performance and design boundaries, particularly with the iconic G-Wagen.

The G-Class itself has a history that dates back to the late 1970s. The original Geländewagen was developed after a request from the Shah of Iran, who sought a capable military-style vehicle. The model entered production in 1979 and quickly proved its durability and capability. Its reputation was reinforced after a victory in the 1983 Paris-Dakar Rally. Over time, the vehicle’s rugged roots evolved into a symbol of luxury and status, especially in high-end urban settings.

Brabus began operating in Germany shortly before the G-Wagen entered production. Founded by Bod Buschmann, the company grew out of a family business centered on Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Over nearly five decades, Brabus expanded its customization work to include supercars, boats and even luxury real estate projects. Its modifications to Mercedes vehicles, especially the G-Class, remain among its most recognized work.

This particular G63 underwent a major transformation in 2022. The Brabus modifications include an aggressive Widestar body kit that widens the vehicle with extended wheel arch flares and redesigned front and rear fascias. The exterior also features a vented hood, extensive carbon-fiber accents and large 23-inch wheels.

The most significant upgrade lies under the hood. The twin-turbocharged V-8 engine has been tuned by Brabus to produce 800 horsepower and 737 pound-feet of torque, dramatically boosting the SUV’s performance.

The exterior of the vehicle is finished in a striking combination of Tiffany Blue and silver, while the cabin features a fully customized Tiffany Blue interior. The interior also includes a starlight-style headliner designed by Brabus, creating a luxurious atmosphere inside the high-performance SUV.

Hirschi has built a major following through her automotive content and media company, SB Media Group. Her platforms collectively reach more than 120 million followers and generate billions of monthly views. Her influence in the luxury and automotive worlds was recognized in 2024 when she was named among individuals making an impact in luxury by Robb Report.

The customized G-Wagen currently shows 21,537 miles and will remain available for bids for a limited time through the SBX Cars auction platform. Hirschi is offering the vehicle as she enters a new phase in her personal life, making the distinctive Brabus-tuned SUV available to collectors and enthusiasts seeking a combination of celebrity provenance, luxury design and supercar-level performance in an off-road icon.
