Looks and performance converge in this muscle car.

Some cars are fast. Some handle well. Some look amazing. You don’t always get all three elements in one vehicle, especially a classic American muscle car, but this 1968 Chevrolet Camaro Pro Tourer isn’t exactly your run-of-the-mill vehicle. The Tourer doesn’t just look cool, but has the equipment to back those aesthetics up. People who really know cars will most definitely admire this ride wherever you take it.

The first thing everyone notices is exterior design, and this Chevy makes a great impression with a nice coat of black and white rally stipes laid right over that. Blacked-out details like the grille surround make the bumper, wheels, and other brightwork really jump out.

We all know what matters even more is what’s under the hood and in the chassis, which is where this Chevy Camaro truly shines. At the heart of it is a 408ci LS stroker built and tuned by Pinellas Performance Automotive. It features FiTech fuel injection and an Edelbrock intake, Dynatech headers, plus a Powermaster XS starter for hard-hitting performance. With plenty of polished billet aluminum parts, you won’t be shy about popping the hood and showing off. You’ll also love the Tremec 5-speed manual transmission as well as the sounds pulsating out of the custom exhaust with X-pipe and Stainless Works mufflers.

All that power means the need to balance it out. Wilwood brakes certainly help to bring everything to a stop, or just slow this muscle car down before entering a tricky turn. Tightening up that chassis are big sway bars in the front and rear, plus RideTech coilovers and RideTech StrongARMs. Topping all that off are Michelin Pilot Super Sports tires, so you get optimal grip on the road.

As if that’s not enough reason to celebrate this ride, the black interior is super clean with billet aluminum highlights like the foot pedals and dual cupholders in the center console. There’s also a Momo steering wheel and a sound system with Kenwood head unit and JL Audio speakers. Topping it all off is an AutoMeter Sport-Comp telemetry unit low in the dash, plus modern air conditioning, so you get the mix of comfort and performance.

This definitely is a special car perfect for someone who really appreciates American muscle. To grab this Camaro before someone else swipes it, get in touch with RK Motors.
