Custom builder Ringbrothers will unveil “OCTAVIA,” its first Aston Martin build, at The Quail on August 15.
Acclaimed custom car builder Ringbrothers is set to shake up this year’s Monterey Car Week with the global debut of its most ambitious project yet — a radically reimagined 1971 Aston Martin DBS named “OCTAVIA.” The unveiling will take place at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, on Friday, August 15.

Marking Ringbrothers’ first Aston Martin build and first appearance at Monterey’s prestigious automotive showcase, “OCTAVIA” represents over 12,000 hours of design, fabrication, and engineering — and it’s unlike anything the hot-rodding world has seen before.
What began as a classic DBS has been transformed into a high-performance, carbon-bodied supercar. The original bodywork has been completely redesigned in carbon fiber, with dramatic width extensions — 10 inches at the rear and 8 inches up front — that retain the spirit of the original William Towns design while pushing the aesthetic into an entirely new realm.
Beneath the clamshell hood lies a monstrous 805-horsepower supercharged V8, mated to a six-speed manual transmission — a purist’s dream and a dramatic departure from the DBS’s factory powertrain. The entire build is a bespoke showcase of Ringbrothers’ signature craftsmanship, down to every bolt and bracket.
“This is the most complex and refined car we’ve ever built,” the Ringbrothers team said in a statement. “We wanted to honor the history of Aston Martin while infusing it with our own performance-driven style. 'OCTAVIA' is that statement.”
“OCTAVIA” will be on display at the Ringbrothers exhibit during The Quail, where it’s expected to draw major attention from both design aficionados and performance enthusiasts alike.
As Monterey Car Week kicks into high gear, the debut of “OCTAVIA” signals a bold expansion for Ringbrothers — and a stunning new chapter in the story of custom coachbuilding.
