Rare 2024 Yenko/SC Stage 3 Camaro Black Panther Roars Toward Arizona Auction

A limited-production 2024 Yenko/SC Stage 3 Chevrolet Camaro Black Panther Edition is preparing to cross the auction block in Arizona, offering collectors one of the last high-performance statements from the model’s sixth and final generation. Number nine of just 100 examples built, the car stands as a milestone at the end of Camaro’s internal-combustion era and serves as an exclamation point for the celebrated nameplate’s farewell.

Built from the foundation of a Camaro SS equipped with the 1LE package, the Black Panther Edition blends factory engineering with the aggressive upgrades synonymous with Yenko builds. The 1LE equipment adds track-proven aerodynamic pieces including a functional splitter and rear spoiler, giving the car stability at elevated speeds. A deep black finish reinforces the edition’s name, with striking blue striping adding a visual cue to the power beneath the surface.

Its cabin continues the focused theme, prioritizing driver engagement over comfort touches. Recaro seats—carried over from the 1LE package—anchor occupants in place, underscoring the car’s track-inspired intent. The six-speed manual transmission reinforces that purpose, making the experience as hands-on as modern performance allows.

The centerpiece of the Black Panther Edition is an extensively reengineered 6.6-liter V8 built on GM’s LT4 architecture. The engine receives a forged rotating assembly, CNC-ported cylinder heads and a bespoke supercharger system, elevating output to 1,500 horsepower and 1,280 lb-ft of torque. That level of performance places the car among the most potent muscle machines of the modern era.

With only 363 miles on the odometer, the Camaro remains close to showroom condition. Production of the sixth-generation model ended in late 2023, and Chevrolet leadership has indicated the nameplate will take a new direction upon its return. As a result, high-performance gasoline variants like this are unlikely to reappear, giving the Black Panther Edition added significance among enthusiasts and long-term collectors.

The car is scheduled to cross the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction block in January 2026, where its rarity, power and timing are expected to draw substantial interest.
