Nearly New 2026 Corvette ZR1 Brings $266,000

A nearly untouched 2026 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 recently crossed the auction block for $266,000, drawing attention from enthusiasts and collectors alike. The sale involved a car that had covered just 49 miles since new, underscoring the continued strength of the high-end performance market for modern American supercars.

The ZR1 represents the pinnacle of Chevrolet’s current Corvette lineup, sitting at the top of the C8 generation. The example sold was configured as a coupe with the highest 3LZ interior trim and the ZTK Performance Track package. Finished in Red Mist Metallic Tintcoat with Carbon Flash racing stripes and extensive carbon fiber accents, the car presented a bold and highly specified appearance.

With nearly $48,000 in factory options, the Corvette carried an original sticker price of $241,373. The final auction result reflected a roughly $25,000 premium over MSRP, before buyer fees. Given the car’s condition and minimal mileage, the sale stood out as a notable transaction in the current market.

Powering the ZR1 is Chevrolet’s LT7 V8, a 5.5-liter flat-plane-crank engine featuring CNC-machined ports and a secondary port fuel-injection system. Twin turbochargers generate up to 20 psi of boost, producing 1,064 horsepower and 828 lb-ft of torque. That output is sent to the rear wheels through an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Performance figures include a 0–60 mph time of 2.3 seconds and a top speed of 233 mph.

The ZTK Performance Track package and the ZR1 Carbon Fiber Aero package contribute to the car’s aggressive handling and aerodynamic capability. Features include carbon fiber dive planes, underbody strakes, and a high-mounted rear wing. Carbon-fiber wheels measuring 20 inches in front and 21 inches in the rear are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires, while Edge Red brake calipers provide visual contrast.

Inside, the cabin combines performance and comfort with Jet Black and Adrenaline Red Napa leather Competition Sport seats. Additional upgrades include carbon fiber interior trim, a 14-speaker Bose audio system, head-up display, dual-zone climate control, and a front-axle lift system.

The sale reflects ongoing interest in limited-production, high-performance vehicles with distinctive engineering and low mileage. For buyers seeking modern supercar capability paired with American heritage, the Corvette ZR1 continues to command attention.
