Digital Artist Reimagines the Lamborghini Miura as a 1,000-Horsepower Hybrid Supercar

While Lamborghini celebrates a record year of sales and a refreshed lineup that includes the Urus SE, Revuelto, and the new Temerario, one designer has taken the Italian brand in an unexpected direction—into a digital future where one of its most revered classics returns to life.

Independent digital artist Tommaso D’Amico, known online as tda_automotive, has unveiled a virtual concept called the “Lamborghini Miura X.” His creation imagines what a modern revival of Lamborghini’s first true supercar could look like if it were reborn for the electrified age. The idea arrives just ahead of the Miura’s 60th anniversary in 2026, marking a fitting tribute to the model that defined the mid-engine performance layout for generations of sports cars.

The original Miura, produced between 1966 and 1973, was a masterpiece of 1960s engineering—low-slung, rear-wheel-drive, and powered by a transversely mounted V12. D’Amico’s Miura X concept carries that spirit forward with an electrified twist. His imagined design blends Lamborghini’s classic proportions with the brand’s “Modern Solid” design philosophy, creating a sculptural, aerodynamic shape that merges nostalgia with futuristic aggression.

Finished in Giallo Hyper Gloss, the fictional Miura X features photoreactive metallic accents, laser-style headlights, forged graphite wheels, and a carbon-fiber-intensive cabin. Inside, it envisions Alcantara monocoque seats, a suspended dashboard, and a digital head-up display projected onto the windshield.

Powertrain options in the imagined lineup range from a 1,000-horsepower all-electric version to a 900-horsepower plug-in hybrid V8 and even a revived naturally aspirated V10 producing 950 horsepower. Each variant blends heritage and high-tech ambition, representing what the Miura might become in a new hybrid era.

Though entirely digital, the Miura X highlights how deeply Lamborghini’s early designs still inspire creativity nearly six decades later—a symbol of timeless performance reborn through modern imagination.
