Brabus Expands Portfolio With High-Power Bentley Continental GT Builds

Brabus, the German tuning house long associated with high-performance Mercedes-Benz models, has formally expanded into Bentley territory with two new builds based on the fourth-generation Continental. The move marks a notable shift for the company, which is now applying its performance-focused approach to British luxury grand tourers for the first time.

The new offerings are known as the Brabus 900 Superblack and Brabus 900. Both are derived from Bentley’s Continental GT Speed lineup, with the Superblack based on the coupe and the 900 using the Continental GTC Speed convertible as its foundation. Each model starts with Bentley’s hybrid 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V-8, introduced last year as the brand’s replacement for its long-running W-12 engine.

While the hybrid system’s electric motor remains unchanged, Brabus has extensively revised the internal combustion side of the powertrain. The tuner has fitted bespoke turbochargers, installed a new carbon-fiber airbox, and recalibrated the engine control unit. Those changes push combined output to 888 horsepower and 811 pound-feet of torque, a clear increase over the factory figures of the Speed variants.

Performance gains extend beyond the engine bay. Both vehicles receive a new exhaust system and suspension changes that lower ride height by nearly an inch. Brabus reports the coupe can accelerate from zero to 62 mph in 3.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 208 mph. The convertible follows closely, achieving the same sprint in 3.4 seconds before topping out at 177 mph.

Visually, the upgrades are unmistakable. A carbon-fiber aerodynamic package and 22-inch forged Monoblock ZM Platinum Edition wheels sharpen the exterior presence of both cars. Traditional Bentley badging has been replaced with Brabus branding, emphasizing the tuner’s more aggressive identity. The 900 Superblack leans heavily into an all-black theme, while the 900 offers a wider range of exterior colors.

Brabus has begun accepting orders for both models, positioning them as ultra-luxury grand tourers with German performance influence layered onto Bentley’s established platform.
