Bentley has officially introduced the fourth-generation Continental GT Speed in South Korea, showcasing the luxury automaker’s most powerful hybrid to date. The grand tourer, blending traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge performance technology, produces a staggering 782 horsepower through its new Ultra Performance Hybrid system.
During a 350-kilometer drive from Seoul to Yangyang, the hybrid system impressed with its seamless transition between electric and combustion power. The car’s electric motor alone delivered quiet, refined motion in urban areas, achieving over 70 kilometers of pure electric range—surpassing the model’s 64-kilometer certified figure in Korea. Once on the highway, the 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 joined in, unleashing the car’s full potential with effortless acceleration and composed handling. The system’s combined power output propels the coupe from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in just 3.2 seconds and up to a top speed of 335 kilometers per hour.
Visually, the new GT Speed marks a significant shift in Bentley’s design language. For the first time since 1959, the automaker has replaced its signature dual circular headlights with an elongated single-lens design, giving the car a more modern and aggressive stance. Despite its sporty proportions, the car retains the elegant volume of a grand tourer.
Inside, the British-built interior remains true to Bentley’s hallmark luxury. A rotating center display allows drivers to switch between a 12.3-inch digital screen, an analog clock, or a wood veneer panel. Hand-stitched leather, intricate quilting, and polished metal trim complete the cabin’s sophisticated aesthetic, though rear-seat space remains limited.
The new Continental GT Speed starts at 346.1 million won in Korea, while the convertible GTC Speed begins at 380.2 million won. Deliveries began in May, signaling Bentley’s continued push toward high-performance electrification in the luxury segment.
