The owner of this car states a shocking number of things on this Porsche are original. Among them is a numbers-matching engine and transmission, which are often not found in any classic 356 models. The owner states the Light Ivory paint, floors, red leatherette upholstery, and equipment are all original, which is simply amazing. Having been meticulously preserved, this 356 C would surely impress at even the finest automotive gatherings, particularly once the details of the car are revealed.

While not quite concours-level, this Porsche 356 C is quite the impressively example which would be a good candidate for such treatment. Or you can choose to maintain its current condition. It’s estimated about 50,500 miles have been racked up on this car, and a mere 200 miles since 1978, so it has lived a posh life.

Included with this car is a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity. It states the 356 C was completed November 27, 1964. Several factory options are listed on the certificate, including tinted glass, exterior mirror, chrome hood ring, and red coco floor mats. The dealer which sold this car new in Jacksonville, Florida installed Delanair air conditioning, a truly rare option.

Included with this Porsche is the original owner’s manual, too kit, jack, air conditioning brochure, and other items you won’t need to track down.

This highly original Porsche 356 C is being auctioned without reserve online right now, so register to bid if interested. Be sure to check out the other upcoming auctions. To ask questions about the process or anything else, contact Gooding & Company directly.
