For nearly three decades, the Wagoneer was virtually unchanged as far as body structure goes, making it the third longest-produced design in U.S. automotive history. It was introduced for the 1963 model year and was built under three different manufacturers until its discontinuation in 1991. This vehicle also is quite arguably the first design of the popular “Sport Utility Vehicle”, as it offered a sophisticated station wagon body on top of a truck-like chassis. These Wagoneers were highly successful from day one, and continue to have a strong cult-like following. The 1987-1991 late models are probably the most sought-after examples. That’s because, at this time, Chrysler took over and offered attractive upgrades like wood siding, better color palates, rust proofing, and a much more comfortable cabin that made some options standard.

This particularly awesome 1991 Jeep Grand Wagoneer is finished in what may be the best color produced: a charcoal gray metallic. It contrasts the wood beautifully and really elongated the body lines on this modern classic. Open the doors and feast your eyes on the gorgeous burgundy interior that adds a real splash of color to this SUV. Everything in the cabin is in operating order, including the highly desirable electric rear window. This Grand Wagoneer has been treated to good service, has a clean CarFax record, and boasts good ownership; it is believed that this vehicle has had just two owners. The brakes and tires are all in good condition, too, and this rig is ready for its new home. Do not miss your opportunity to own a great low-mileage and clean example of a classic luxury 4x4 that will take you far.
