Own This GT40 MKI Wide Body To Connect With Racing History

Up for grabs is a GT40 that will take you back to legendary racing!

This factory built Superformance GT40 MK1 was made to recreate the original GT40 that took down Ferrari during the Le Mans 24 Hours in 1966. The designers developed this car with so much attention to detail that it’s actually legally allowed to be called a GT40 by name, and most of the parts are interchangeable with the original cars. Not only that, it’s eligible for the official GT40 registry and has a GT40/P chassis number P2367.

Bianco Fuji Pearl White with Twin Viper Blue Stripes cover the GT40 MKI Wide Body supercar, and under the hood lurks a massive Roush 427IR 8-Stack engine that pumps out 560-horsepower - the engine was installed by Crown Concepts. Backing the 427 cubic-inch engine is a Quaife five-speed manual transmission with a Quicktime steel bellhousing and McLeod RST Street twin disc clutch.

Once the power if funneled through the Quaife 5 speed differential, BRM style wheels, wrapped in 5” Avon 295 rear, 215 front CR6ZZ tires push the monocoque style chassis. The independent front and rear suspension, combined with Bilstein coilover progressive shocks give it exceptional ride quality, as well as handling. Wilwood 4-piston calipers branded GT40 give the supercar the serious stopping power needed for aggressive track driving.

According to Superformance, “The Superformance GT40 also boasts a pressed steel roof and beautifully finished body available in wide body (1968) and extra wide body (1969) configurations as well as both right and left hand drive.”

These are just a few of the features that make the Superformance built GT40 an exceptional car. Included are also features like a “Push button start, fully independent front and rear suspension, radiator and oil cooler, dual electric fans, Smith gauges, an air conditioner, Adjustable pedal box, Twin stainless steel baffled fuel tanks, Built-in rear spoiler, Bundle of snakes, rear exit exhaust.”
