Own This '67 Corvette That Was Restored After Sitting For 42 Years

This classic gem was parked in 1974 for over four decades and was recently given a frame-off restoration completed in 2018.

Here's your chance to take home this vintage gem - a fully restored 1967 Chevrolet Corvette. This stunning example has an interesting back story. An early production vehicle in 1967, this classic 'Vette was shipped directly to the Chevrolet Engineering Center and General Motor Proving Grounds in Milford, Michigan hot off the factory assembly line in St. Louis. From there, the car was sold to a GM engineer from Lansing where it accumulated roughly 38,000 miles. In 1974, the car was parked in a garage where it sat for about 42 years.

Fast forward to 2016, and this sleeping beauty was pulled from hibernation and given a full frame-off restoration completed in 2018 with no detail left untouched. Shining brilliantly in Rally Red with a black vinyl hardtop and chrome accents, this classic is undoubtedly ready to wow the judges and crowd at any car show. Completing that classic look is a set of white side wall tires.

Stuffed inside the engine bay is a numbers-matching L71 427cui V8 Turbojet engine that generates 435-horsepower and is shifted via an M21 four-speed close-ratio manual transmission. More mechanical highlights include a transistor ignition, 355R positraction axle, and GM air injection. Added rumble and performance is provided by a dual side exhaust. Power steering allows for easy maneuvering, and power brakes bring everything to a halt with ease.

Open the doors to an immaculate black vinyl interior that looks like it has never been sat in. Contrasting chrome accents perfectly pop against the mostly black interior and further add to its muscle car appeal. The car comes with CCAS Affirmation that verifies the motor, trim, and VIN tags. Also, this classic comes with full ownership history, Tank sticker, restoration photos, and receipts. Since restoration, the car has barely been driven, if any, with just 38,000 original miles on the clock.

This 1967 Chevy Corvette would make the perfect addition to your garage. The price is unlisted, but feel free to contact for price or questions, or feel free to make an offer here.
