High-impact blue exterior and a customized white interior.

It seems like the Chevy C10 pickups are widely admired, and for good reason. If you have been in search of one for yourself, then look no further. Streetside Classics is proud to offer up this beautiful blue 1968 Chevrolet C10 step-side pickup for sale for $48,995. Featuring a blue on white color scheme, this pickup has just 16,550 miles on the odometer (since built) and is going to make someone a very happy owner for years to come. This 1968 C10 will turn heads everywhere you go with its bright blue paint job, Pro Street set up, and chopped top. When you take it out on the road, you likely won’t see another one like it. What’s more, expect to be immersed in many gas station conversations because this is one bad truck – in a good way, of course.

It looks as though the builders removed at least three inches out of the roof when chopping it, and the difference shows! It goes from a pedestrian utility vehicle to a sleek and muscular go-anywhere truck. Out back, the closed-off truck bed sports a beautifully finished wood platform with paint-matched trim slats. All in all, the workmanship on this truck is spot on and in very good condition. The chopped roof is complemented by shaved door handles and badges that ultimately smooth out the entire pickup truck. The front bumper was incorporated into the bodywork and an aggressive cowl hood was added. All of the glass was custom made to take the new cab dimensions into consideration. The finished product sits on Bright Cragar alloy wheels wrapped in 26x7.50-15 front and 29x14.5-15 rear (slicks) Hoosier performance meaty tires.

Right off the bat, it’s the high-impact blue paint that steals the spotlight. The photos really don’t do it justice. The interior politely contrasts the blue with elegant white upholstery. Even the modern bucket seats are vinyl wrapped white with contours that mold to your body – extremely useful and appreciated on long cruises. Cabin goodies include a sporty Grant GT steering wheel on a tilt column, a B&M shifter, reworked dashboard, black Auto Meter gauges, and an AM/FM radio with a CD player.

This 1968 Chevrolet C10 is powered by a 383 cubic-inch Stroker V8 engine mated to a four-speed automatic transmission. But if that’s not enough for you, this one has been built to take nitrous. When activated, the power will snap you back into your seat and leave those gorgeous rubber streaks on the asphalt. Don’t forget about the incredible smell it leaves behind either. The painted intake and four-barrel carb work with an upgraded camshaft to improve the setup and deliver a burbled V8 idle. The underhood area also includes some dressed-up pieces painted in the same shiny blue exterior hue. The engine block itself, however, is covered in black paint. All this power is stopped via four-wheel disc brakes.

This C10 has a lot of fight left in it and deserves to be taken to its limits. While it may look good as a show car, this pickup also has a lot of power that is begging to be used.
