Ford proved they were armed with a heavy hitter when they finally introduced the highly anticipated 2020 Shelby GT500 Mustang. Straight out of the factory gates, this high-performance Mustang was given potent power paired with an attractive - yet aggressive - appearance. In fact, this is Ford's most track-precise Mustang to date. Shelby American is offering the chance to take home an instant collectible in the form of a 2020 Shelby GT500.
Equipped with the Carbon Fiber Track Pack, the already limited-production Shelby is even more rare. Exterior-wise, the car is painted in Ford Performance Blue complete with painted "over the top" stripes. A set of 20-inch exposed carbon fiber wheels have been fitted to all four corners and come wrapped with Ford Performance-spec Michelin Sport Cup 2 rubber. Also included in the carbon fiber Track Pack is a carbon fiber instrument panel and adjustable GT4 track wing as part of the carbon fiber package.
Powering the car is a supercharged 5.2-liter cross plane crank V8 that generates 760-horsepower and 625 lb/ft of torque. A MagneRide damping system makes up the advanced suspension and keeps handling in check and power planted to the pavement. Massive powerful Brembo brakes bring all power to a halt with ease. This track-oriented Shelby shifts via a dual-clutch.
