Custom-built Chevy C1500 with Northstar V8, Escalade styling, and magazine feature status redefines the street truck scene.
A one-of-a-kind 1990 Chevrolet C1500 pickup, famously known as “Cadi-Klysm,” is making waves once again with its bold design and custom Cadillac-inspired flair. Built by Precision Roadware and featured in the December 2002 issue of Sport Truck Magazine, this fully reimagined street truck blends classic pickup proportions with luxury cues and modern performance upgrades.

At first glance, the truck’s Escalade-style front fascia, multicolor pinstriping, and aggressive black and yellow paint scheme signal that this is no ordinary C1500. With shaved door handles, flared rear fenders, and a one-piece custom bed topped with an aluminum tonneau cover, the exterior is as bold as its name. A hand-painted Cadillac emblem and "Cadi-Klysm" script round out the distinctive visual treatment.
Power comes from a 4.6-liter Northstar V8, sourced from a 1996 Cadillac and converted for rear-wheel-drive duty. Mated to a 4L60E four-speed automatic transmission and Positraction differential, the powertrain delivers smooth yet potent street performance. The modified chassis rides on Boyd Coddington wheels—17 inches up front and 20 inches in the rear—wrapped in Nitto performance tires. Wilwood disc brakes and an adjustable front air suspension ensure both stopping power and show-ready stance.

Inside, the truck continues to impress with custom black leather bucket seats, push-button ignition, a billet-trimmed interior, and a Budnik steering wheel. A Kenwood stereo system with Kicker subwoofers adds to the modernized driving experience. Classic Instruments gauges with yellow dials complete the cabin's bespoke look.
With only 130 miles on the odometer since its transformation and a legacy cemented in magazine pages and car show history, “Cadi-Klysm” stands as a bold expression of early 2000s custom truck culture—restored, preserved, and still turning heads.
