This modern muscle car crosses the auction block soon.

One of the hottest vehicles to be released recently, the 2020 Shelby GT500 is what some call the future of American muscle cars. It’s incredibly powerful, has style for miles, and yet still treats you with a surprising array of comforts. This particular car is heading to auction through GAA Classic Cars, so if you’re in the market for one it could be a great opportunity.

Of course, the thing everyone focuses on immediately is the supercharged 5.2-liter V8 engine. That’s understandable, considering it produces a monstrous 760-horsepower and 625 lb.-ft. of torque. To help you make the most of that on the track, there’s a dedicated drag mode as well as launch control. Ford Performance says this muscle car can do the quarter mile in 10.6 seconds without modifications.

This Shelby is about more than just power. A smooth, quick-shifting 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission makes it easy to handle and ensures brisk acceleration with minimal effort. Helping to balance out that power are Magnetic Controlled Shock Absorbers, which also provide responsive handling on all kinds of surfaces, even through tight turns.

Also helping the driver maintain optimal control are Brembo brakes, with 6-piston calipers and 16.5-inch discs up front. Plus, the two-piece floating vented disc design helps to eliminate brake fade, making this a great car to drive on the track.

As if that isn’t enough to make anyone interested in this Shelby, the interior features super comfortable seats with tall bolsters so you stay in place as you whip this car through turns. All the modern luxuries you expect are there, like keyless entry/ignition, air conditioning, and Bluetooth. Plus, a custom-fitted car cover with the Shelby Cobra on it is included.

With dealerships marking the 2020 Shelby GT500 way above MSRP, registering to bid on this one through GAA Classic Cars could end up being a wise move.
