When many car enthusiasts think of the muscle car era, a big block '69 Chevelle may come to mind. With sleek body lines and raw power, the Chevelle 396 remains a hot commodity today much like it did in its heyday. In fact, GM made record sales on the Chevelle for the 1969 model yer selling 86,307 SS 396s, and 9,000 were equipped with the L78. This stunning 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle 396 with the highly desired L78 V8 engine convertible is up for bids through Awesome Joe's Auctions with 3 days left.

The interior is brand new and features bucket seats, new Rallye gauges, and a Retrosound radio. Even more, it features a new glass back window top with a new boot.

Stuffed under the hood is the powerful L78 396cui V8 engine that generates a healthy 375-horsepower. A Borg Warner T10 four-speed transmission shifts power to the ground via a Hurst shifter.
