One-of-One 2005 Anteros Targa Coupe Heads to Auction With Corvette-Based Performance

A rare custom-built 2005 Anteros Targa Coupe is drawing interest among collectors as it heads to auction, offering a blend of Corvette performance and bespoke design.

The vehicle is described as a one-of-one build created by California-based N2A Motors. Built on the platform of a 2005 Chevrolet Corvette coupe, the car features extensive custom bodywork and distinctive styling that separates it from the original production model.

The exterior of the Anteros Targa Coupe is constructed with carbon-fiber body panels and finished in metallic blue. The use of carbon fiber contributes to the vehicle’s unique appearance while maintaining a lightweight structure. The design gives the car a custom-built presence while still utilizing the proven engineering of the Corvette platform beneath it.

Power comes from a 6.0-liter LS2 V8 engine, a powerplant commonly associated with mid-2000s Corvette performance models. The engine is paired with a six-speed manual transmission, delivering power to the rear wheels through a limited-slip differential. This drivetrain combination provides the type of responsive performance that has made the Corvette platform popular among performance enthusiasts.

The custom build also includes several performance-oriented components designed to enhance braking and handling. Wilwood brake calipers were fitted along with slotted and drilled brake rotors. The car rides on staggered-diameter billet wheels, giving it an aggressive stance while supporting the performance-focused setup.

The vehicle’s targa-style configuration features a removable roof panel, allowing the driver to alternate between a closed coupe experience and open-air driving.

Inside, the cabin combines performance styling with luxury-oriented details. The interior includes heated, power-adjustable bucket seats wrapped in two-tone tan leather upholstery. Additional interior elements include burl wood trim throughout the cockpit, adding a distinctive visual contrast to the leather surfaces.

Comfort and convenience features are also present. The car is equipped with automatic climate control along with a CD stereo system connected to Bose speakers, providing a premium audio setup.

The Anteros Targa Coupe has approximately 15,000 miles recorded and is currently being offered on dealer consignment. The sale includes a Carfax report and an Arizona title.

Now listed on Bring a Trailer, the one-of-one custom build represents a rare example of a Corvette-based vehicle transformed into a uniquely styled performance coupe by N2A Motors. See it here.
