Hennessey Performance has introduced a new ultra-limited Mustang to mark its 35th anniversary, delivering a high-powered tribute to the company’s long-standing focus on performance engineering.
The Texas-based tuner revealed the anniversary edition of its Super Venom Mustang, a heavily modified version of the latest seventh-generation Ford Mustang. Designed to exceed the capabilities of Ford’s own top-tier models, the vehicle produces 850 horsepower, making it one of the most powerful Mustangs currently available.
The performance gains come from extensive upgrades to Ford’s 5.0-liter Coyote V-8 engine. Hennessey fitted the powerplant with a large supercharger, along with enhanced air induction and revised engine management systems. These modifications significantly increase output beyond other high-performance variants, including Ford’s Mustang GTD and the anticipated Dark Horse SC.
Performance figures place the Super Venom firmly in supercar territory. The vehicle is expected to accelerate from a standstill to high speeds in just over three seconds, while completing the quarter-mile in under 11 seconds. These benchmarks highlight the tuner’s continued emphasis on straight-line speed and aggressive power delivery.
Beyond the engine, the anniversary edition features a distinct visual package. A carbon-fiber VenomAero body kit adds aerodynamic enhancements, including a front splitter, vented hood, side skirts, and a large fixed rear wing. The exterior also carries commemorative details, including a “91” graphic on the hood referencing the company’s founding year and a “35” badge on the front fender.

Production will be limited to just 35 units, aligning with the anniversary theme and reinforcing the model’s exclusivity. While official pricing has not yet been disclosed, it is expected to exceed the cost of the standard Super Venom, which starts at $163,950. However, it will likely remain below the price point of the Mustang GTD.
The release underscores Hennessey’s ongoing commitment to pushing the limits of American muscle cars through performance-focused innovation.
