A Bugatti Chiron owner has opted to replace the factory wheels on the multi-million-dollar hypercar, choosing a polished smoke set from Anrky’s XR series. While aftermarket wheels may seem like a modest upgrade, the decision takes on different weight when the vehicle in question is among the fastest production cars ever built and typically sells between $3 million and $4 million—often far more depending on mileage and spec.
Modifying a Chiron is uncommon, largely because of the engineering demands placed on its components. Both wheels and tires must withstand extreme forces generated by the car’s power and speed. Even small changes need to meet strict performance and safety expectations, which makes any alteration noteworthy within hypercar circles.
The newly fitted wheels feature a five-spoke layout and a polished smoke finish. Although part of a series available for multiple vehicle types, they were selected to give the car a more personalized appearance. Behind the new alloys, blue brake calipers add contrast to the Chiron’s glossy black exterior, which is accented by chrome elements. Aside from the wheels, the owner appears to have made only minimal changes, including window tinting that blends into the car’s already dark presentation.
The Chiron, produced from 2016 to 2024, represented Bugatti’s final chapter with its signature quad-turbocharged 8.0-liter W16 engine. Its successor, the Tourbillon, moves into a new era with an 8.3-liter Cosworth-developed powerplant backed by three electric motors. Combined output reaches 1,775 horsepower, giving the new model staggering acceleration figures, from 0–62 mph in 2.0 seconds to 0–248 mph in 25.0 seconds. With the Speed Key engaged, the Tourbillon is capable of reaching 276 mph.
While the Chiron remains one of the most formidable hypercars on the road, this owner’s decision to install custom wheels highlights a desire to stand apart even within an already exclusive automotive world.
