While BMW may headline as the official partner of the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, this year’s Broad Arrow Auctions at neighboring Villa Erba offers a deeply Italian twist, showcasing some of the rarest and most storied vehicles ever built on the peninsula—and beyond.

Set for May 24–25, the two-day sale will begin with a BMW-only auction on Saturday before shifting into a multi-marque spectacle on Sunday. Leading the roster is a 1948 Ferrari 166 Spyder Corsa, chassis 004 C, boasting early race provenance including the Targa Florio and Mille Miglia. Retaining its original body, chassis, and V12 engine, the Ferrari carries an estimate of €5.5–€7.5 million.

Among modern hypercars, a 2022 Pagani Huayra R—one of just 30 produced—will cross the block with a €2.8–€3.2 million estimate. Other head-turners include a 2022 Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4, 2006 Porsche Carrera GT, and Mercedes SLR McLaren 722 Edition.
For classic Ferrari collectors, a 1965 275 GTS with Classiche certification, a 1964 250 GT Lusso, and a race-prepped 1989 Ferrari F40 'Competizione' are highlights, joined by vintage icons from Maserati, Alfa Romeo, and Siata.

Also featured is a 1936 Maserati 6CM, the first of its kind and victor at numerous Grand Prix events under Count Trossi. It’s joined by a unique 1938 Talbot-Lago T150 C Teardrop Coupe by Figoni et Falaschi, estimated at €4.5–€6.5 million, and a one-of-a-kind 1955 Jaguar XK140 Ghia Coupe.
With offerings ranging from a rare Alpina Z1 RLE to a restoration-ready Alfa 6C 2500, the Broad Arrow sale pairs historic depth with modern appeal, further cementing Lake Como as the center of the collector car universe this May.
