The kart was produced by Action Products of Tempe, Arizona, and was designed with plastic bodywork shaped to resemble the fourth-generation Corvette. Finished in white, the body features a Castrol GTX-style livery with red and green graphics, along with Corvette emblems and several decorative details intended to mimic the full-size car.
The small-scale racer is currently located in Franktown, Colorado, and carries a high bid of $150 with seven days remaining in the auction. It was purchased by the seller in April 2026 and is being offered with a bill of sale.
The kart’s Corvette-inspired body includes faux door handles, a faux windshield and lighting decals, giving it the look of a children’s promotional or recreational vehicle from the 1980s. The bodywork was repainted under prior ownership, and replacement livery decals were added. Some blemishes are visible on the front bumper.
Power comes from a Briggs & Stratton single-cylinder engine that was factory rated at 3.5 horsepower. The engine sends power to the rear axle through a belt-drive system and uses a pull-starter. Recent mechanical work included replacement of the carburetor, spark plug and air filter.
The go-kart rides on staggered-width turbine-style plastic wheels measuring 4 inches in the front and 6 inches in the rear, wrapped in Cheng Shin tires. Braking is handled by a rear drum brake.
Inside the compact cockpit, the kart features a molded seat with black foam padding and an adjustable steering column. A yoke-style steering wheel includes hand-operated throttle and brake controls, keeping the layout simple and focused for small-scale recreational driving.
With its Corvette-inspired shape, period-style livery and simple Briggs & Stratton powertrain, the Funder Wheels kart stands out as a nostalgic piece of 1980s automotive-themed recreation.
