Zenvo Automotive is using Monterey Car Week 2026 to give American collectors and dealers their most substantial look yet at the car that will define the Danish brand's next decade. At the Zenvo House in Carmel Valley, the company is putting a pre-production Aurora Tur next to the track-focused Aurora Agil show car, letting visitors compare the two interpretations of its upcoming V12 hypercar face to face for the first time in the US.

The Tur on display is a Validation Prototype, badged VP5, representing the final engineering stage before Zenvo locks in the specification customers will actually receive. The Agil, meanwhile, first appeared publicly at the New York Auto Show earlier this year and returns to Monterey as a fully realized preview of the lighter, more track-oriented member of the Aurora family. Having both cars together at the Zenvo House marks the next concrete step toward the Aurora's planned production launch in 2027, and gives the brand's US retailer network, prospective owners, and press a chance to sit in, walk around, and question the engineers behind the program during private appointments and media briefings throughout the week.
Every Aurora starts with the same clean-sheet foundation: an all-carbon-fiber chassis wrapped around a bespoke 6.6-liter quad-turbocharged V12 nicknamed Mjølner, co-developed with MAHLE Powertrain. On its own, the combustion engine produces 1,250 horsepower and spins to 9,800 rpm, figures that already place it among the most extreme naturally aspirated-feeling engines ever built for a road car. Add Zenvo's hybrid system, and total output climbs as high as 1,850 horsepower depending on which Aurora derivative is specified. Power reaches the road through an 8-speed transmission, and every car is hand-assembled by Zenvo's small team in Præstø, Denmark.
Where the two variants diverge is philosophy. Aurora Agil is the lightweight, track-honed edition, engineered to be as immediate and focused as a road-legal hypercar can be, while Aurora Tur takes the same mechanical foundation and adds the comfort, refinement, and long-distance manners of a proper grand tourer. Zenvo is limiting the entire Aurora program to just 100 cars split between the two body styles, with pricing starting from €2.8 million and first customer deliveries expected in the second half of 2027. Both variants are being engineered for full US road-legal homologation, a detail that matters enormously for a brand that has historically built in tiny numbers for a global clientele.
Zenvo's leadership frames the Monterey stop as more than a photo opportunity. CEO and Chief Technical Officer Jon Gunner said the brand is looking forward to showing how the program has progressed, noting that the Monterey crowd in particular appreciates "engineering, craftsmanship, and genuine driver engagement." Beyond hosting guests at the Zenvo House, the Tur and Agil will also appear at Exotics on Broadway, one of Car Week's highest-profile public gatherings, giving enthusiasts outside the invite-only circuit a chance to see the cars in person.
For collectors trying to figure out where a car like Aurora fits into the broader market, Hagerty's valuation tools are a useful starting point, even though a brand-new hypercar with no sales history won't show up in the price guide yet. Hagerty's data on the exotics category illustrates just how differently ultra-limited, engineering-led cars can behave once they do trade hands. The Porsche Carrera GT is the clearest recent example: Hagerty currently tracks good-condition examples near $2.3 million, up more than 90 percent over the past year, a reminder that low-volume, analog-feeling hypercars from respected engineering-first brands can move independently of the broader collector market. Aurora, with a production run capped at 100 cars and a similarly obsessive engineering story, is exactly the kind of car that tends to get watched closely once real transactions begin.
That dynamic is playing out across Car Week this year, not just at the Zenvo House. Motorious has been tracking how Hagerty's tools frame value at very different corners of the market this week, from a numbers-matching Ferrari 308 GTS quattrovalvole testing Hagerty's QV pricing to a one-owner Donkervoort S8 2.0 heading to auction as a lesson in what long-term ownership does for analog sports cars. With the Tur and Agil now sharing a stage in California, Zenvo has effectively started the countdown to 2027. The next milestone will be seeing how closely the production Aurora sticks to what's parked at the Zenvo House this week, and how the market responds once the first of just 100 cars actually change hands.
