The 1960 DeVille displayed a smoother, more subtle rendition of the styling introduced the previous year.


The 1960 DeVille displayed a smoother, more subtle rendition of the styling introduced the previous year. Changes included a full width grille, elimination of pointed front bumper guards, lower tailfins with oval shaped nacelles, plain fender skirts, and special script nameplates adorned the rear fenders.

First for this year was the option to drop in the 3x2bbl 345 hp Eldorado engine into any Cadillac.

Sales were down slightly this year from the previous year.

Car Life magazine selected the 1960 Cadillac as its "Best buy in the luxury field."
