The 1954 Corvette, although not noticeably different, offered up small modifications throughout the year to improve upon the car. A few more color options were also added to the mix.


The 1953 Corvette was a bit more of a ‘soft launch,’ it was merely a concept car, but with increasing demand and excitement within executive ranks, the Corvette returned. The 1954 Corvette, although not noticeably different, offered up small modifications throughout the year to improve upon the car. A few more color options were also added to the mix.

The price did drop almost 21% from the previous year, but with the lack of performance and options, demand suffered. Some Corvettes sat on dealer lots for years.
