The Corvette’s 6.2-liter LT2 V8 produces 495 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque, while the Supra’s 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six offers 382 horsepower and 368 pound-feet. On paper, the Corvette should have walked away easily. But racing at Colorado’s altitude levels the playing field — and gives the turbocharged Supra a distinct advantage over the naturally aspirated Chevy.
