A piece of modern car culture is heading to auction, offering enthusiasts the chance to own one of the most recognizable vehicles from the web series Roadkill. The 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat known as “General Maintenance” is now listed for sale on Bring A Trailer, closing a chapter for a sedan that became a symbol of burnout-driven entertainment.

Roadkill built its reputation over two decades by celebrating function over perfection. The show encouraged fans to get cars running rather than chase flawless restorations, often highlighting improbable engine swaps and tire-shredding spectacles. During Dodge’s sponsorship of the program in 2015, the automaker provided a Challenger SRT Hellcat, a Viper and a Charger SRT Hellcat for the hosts to test in typically over-the-top fashion. The Charger remained as a long-term fixture and soon adopted a persona of its own.
The car arrived at a pivotal moment for Dodge. Its 6.2-liter supercharged V8 delivered 707 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft. of torque, numbers that redefined expectations for a factory-built sedan. Capable of extended burnouts and straight-line theatrics, the Hellcat platform became an internet sensation almost overnight.
General Maintenance received a distressed exterior treatment inspired by the show’s infamous General Mayhem project car. A prominent hood scoop reinforced its aggressive image. Unlike many Roadkill builds known for unpredictable reliability, this Charger was intended to perform dramatic stunts while remaining largely dependable.

Over the years, the sedan traveled extensively, appearing in Korea and Saudi Arabia and crossing the continental United States. Despite its global exposure, the odometer shows just 16,000 miles. The car is equipped with heated and ventilated front seats, a 13-speaker Harman/Kardon audio system and blind spot monitoring.
Its history has not been without incident. The listing notes a 2024 hit and visible wear including a bent left rear wheel, cosmetic scrapes and replacement half-shafts and differential components.
With its patina, performance credentials and television pedigree, the General Maintenance Hellcat presents a unique value question. Bidding will ultimately determine how much Roadkill history is worth when the hammer falls.
