Mustang Week is expanding its reach with the addition of a new Florida event set to debut in March 2027, marking a significant milestone for one of the most recognizable gatherings in the Ford enthusiast community.

The new event, officially called Mustang Week Florida: Spring Break Edition, will take place March 10-13, 2027, throughout the Tampa Bay area. Organizers describe the expansion as an addition to the existing Mustang Week calendar rather than a replacement for established events in Charlotte and Texas. The move creates a three-location circuit designed to bring enthusiasts together in different regions of the country while offering unique experiences at each destination.
Florida was selected in part because of its strong Ford enthusiast base, favorable weather conditions and reputation as a popular travel destination. The Tampa Bay area combines automotive culture with attractions that extend beyond the event grounds, giving participants opportunities to enjoy both performance driving activities and the region’s coastal setting.
The four-day event will begin on March 10 with a VIP Track Day at Motor Enclave, a performance driving facility that will allow participants to put their vehicles through their paces in a controlled environment. The opening day will conclude with a kickoff celebration featuring food, entertainment and a cruise-in gathering.
Activities will continue on March 11 at Showtime Speedway, where drag racing and drifting demonstrations will headline a full day of motorsports action. The venue is expected to showcase a variety of vehicles and driving styles, highlighting the performance side of Mustang and Ford ownership.
The centerpiece of the event will take place March 12 and 13 at Tropicana Field. Organizers plan to host an all-Mustang car show alongside a range of enthusiast-focused attractions, including drifting exhibitions, autocross competitions, vendor displays and interactive fan experiences. A Fabulous Fords Friday cruise-in is also scheduled as part of the weekend festivities.
With the addition of the Florida gathering, Mustang Week continues to evolve from a single-event tradition into a broader national series. Organizers are positioning the new Spring Break Edition as an early-season destination event that will help kick off the automotive enthusiast calendar in 2027 while bringing together Mustang and Ford owners from across the country.
