Mansory Unveils Azura Cabriolet Based on Mercedes-AMG G 63 With Extreme Styling and 820 Horsepower

German luxury automotive tuner Mansory has introduced a dramatic new take on the Mercedes-AMG G 63, transforming the high-performance SUV into an open-top cabriolet called the Azura. Known for creating some of the most visually aggressive custom vehicles in the luxury market, Mansory has once again leaned heavily into bold styling, extensive customization and increased performance.

The Mansory Azura immediately stands out thanks to its convertible body design, a rare modification for the already imposing Mercedes-AMG G 63. Removing the roof significantly changes the appearance of the SUV while adding an even more exclusive feel to the luxury off-roader. The conversion is paired with a series of additional visual upgrades aimed at making the vehicle impossible to overlook.

Among the most striking additions are rear-hinged suicide doors, which give the SUV an even more dramatic presence when entering or exiting the cabin. Mansory also fitted the Azura with a widebody kit that substantially alters the proportions of the vehicle, emphasizing a more muscular and aggressive stance.

The exterior modifications continue with oversized custom wheels, redesigned body panels and an unusual dual-tone paint scheme designed to maximize attention. At the rear, the Azura gains an additional set of taillights integrated directly into the bumper, adding another unconventional styling element to the already heavily modified SUV.

Inside, Mansory redesigned the cabin with a focus on luxury and exclusivity. The Azura features a four-seat configuration rather than the more traditional SUV layout, creating a more personalized interior environment. Teal leather upholstery dominates the cabin, covering seats, trim panels and other interior surfaces. Mansory branding and logos appear throughout the interior, reinforcing the tuner’s signature design approach.

Rear passengers also benefit from a customized center console that further separates the Azura from the standard Mercedes-AMG G 63. The interior redesign combines luxury materials with a highly stylized presentation intended to match the vehicle’s bold exterior appearance.

Performance upgrades accompany the extensive cosmetic changes. Under the hood, the Azura retains the Mercedes-AMG-sourced 4.0-liter bi-turbo V8 engine, though Mansory significantly increased its output. The tuned powertrain now produces 820 horsepower and 848 pound-feet of torque, representing a substantial increase over the standard G 63’s factory figures of 577 horsepower and 627 pound-feet of torque.

The result is a highly customized luxury SUV that blends open-top driving, supercar-level performance and attention-grabbing styling into one of Mansory’s most extreme creations to date.
