A rare, long-owned Dodge Challenger SRT8 fitted with Hennessey’s HPE550 performance package is now being offered at auction, giving muscle car fans a chance at a well-documented, modified example with a single-owner history.
The car, a 2010 Challenger SRT8 finished in Plum Crazy purple, retains its original appearance while benefiting from a substantial list of upgrades from the Texas-based tuning shop. The HPE550 package adds a supercharger, cold air intake, high-flow catalytic converters, stainless steel mid-pipes and an ECU recalibration. These changes push the 6.1-liter V8 from its factory 425 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque to a claimed 481 horsepower and 488 pound-feet. Power continues to reach the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission.

Factory equipment includes the SRT Option Group II, which brought white gauge faces and an upgraded Kicker audio system with a subwoofer, amplifier and performance speakers. The car also features a power sunroof, heated seats, 20-inch wheels, carbon-fiber–style hood stripes and a 3.92 rear axle ratio. Inside, the cabin is trimmed in Dark Slate Gray, with minor upholstery creasing noted by the seller.
The Challenger shows just over 46,000 miles and has spent its entire life in Tucson, Arizona, under the care of the same owner. Maintenance includes a recently replaced flywheel, clutch, pressure plate, throw-out bearing, tires, and lower radiator hoses. Fresh transmission fluid and coolant were also added. The car comes with a clean title, a one-owner Carfax report and documentation confirming no accident history.
Included in the sale are the original window sticker, spare belts, factory parts, filters, door edge moldings, a car cover, a duster, two keys, the owner’s manual and a Diablo Predator 2 tuner with its CD. The Challenger originally cost $46,785 before the Hennessey modifications.
The car is currently listed on Cars & Bids with a reserve in place. Bidding stands at $5,000 ahead of the scheduled auction close on Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2025, leaving plenty of time for interest to build around this well-kept, supercharged SRT8.
