Rare 1995 Chevrolet Camaro B4C police pursuit car, complete with lights and radar, is now for sale on Bring a Trailer.
A rare piece of high-speed law enforcement history has hit the market: a 1995 Chevrolet Camaro B4C Special Service coupe, formerly used by the Nevada Highway Patrol in Elko, has been listed for sale—fully equipped with its original pursuit gear and wearing its NHP livery.
Originally built under the B4C Special Service Package—a police-only configuration at the time—the Camaro was designed to catch speeders, not transport them. These purpose-built interceptors were delivered with major performance enhancements pulled from the Camaro Z28 and 1LE option codes, including De Carbon shocks, heavy-duty sway bars, four-wheel disc brakes, and triple oil coolers for the engine, power steering, and transmission.
This specific car retains its 275-horsepower LT1 V8 engine, capable of pushing the two-door coupe to 154 mph. A 4-speed 4L60E automatic transmission sends power to the rear wheels via a limited-slip differential, completing a 0–100 mph sprint in just 15.8 seconds—a benchmark performance at the time for police vehicles.
Beyond its muscle, the car carries its original Jetsonic light bar, K55 radar unit, certified speedometer, and period-correct police markings. Refurbished in 2012 and now being offered on Bring a Trailer, the Camaro presents in excellent condition, complete with documentation, accessories, and a clean title.
The B4C program began in 1991 as Chevrolet’s response to rising demand for lightweight, high-performance patrol vehicles. Only available to law enforcement until the early 2000s, the B4C Camaros have since become cult classics among collectors, with documented units like this NHP car especially prized.
While many former police Camaros were stripped of equipment or scrapped after service, this survivor offers a unique window into 1990s law enforcement tactics—complete with flashing lights and the horsepower to back them up.
