Dodge Expands Customization Options for Gas-Powered Charger Models

Dodge is expanding customization options for its gas-powered Charger models, introducing new cosmetic features aimed at increasing the car’s appeal without changing performance.

The updates arrive after the brand reintroduced combustion power to the Charger lineup, offering buyers new ways to personalize Sixpack-powered versions of the performance car. The latest additions include a Satin Black hood graphic and Fratzog dual stripes, both focused on visual identity rather than horsepower gains.

The Fratzog design, already familiar to buyers of the all-electric Charger Daytona, is now available for gas-powered models as well. The styling traces its roots to Dodge’s heritage, referencing the 1960s era when the Fratzog logo appeared on vehicles such as the Dodge Dart. The dual stripe package features red accents and repeating Fratzog logos and can be ordered on vehicles equipped with either glass or steel roofs.

The Satin Black hood graphic is applied to a specific section of the hood and is intended to highlight the sculpted power dome while creating contrast with the vehicle’s exterior paint.

These new visual options are offered on Charger models powered by the 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged Hurricane inline-six engine. The Charger R/T carries a standard output of 420 horsepower and emphasizes improved fuel efficiency, while the Charger Scat Pack produces 550 horsepower.

Dodge’s lineup still does not include a V8-powered Charger, leaving the Ford Mustang as the only current muscle car offering a V8. The Hemi engine is expected to return in other vehicles, including the Ram 1500 TRX.

Pricing for the new cosmetic features starts at $395 for the Satin Black hood graphic and $1,695 for the Fratzog dual stripes.

The additions reflect a broader customization strategy from Dodge. The company plans to introduce more accessories through Mopar, including bodyside graphics, a performance cat-back exhaust kit, and bright pedal covers.

The Charger R/T starts at $49,995, while the Scat Pack begins at $54,995. The all-electric Charger Daytona, introduced in 2024, starts at $60,690 and received a lukewarm reception at launch.
