General Motors has officially unveiled the 2026 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Santorini Edition in Japan, marking the debut of the first special-edition version of the high-performance Z06. The model has been introduced as part of Chevrolet’s launch of the 2026 Corvette Z06 lineup in the Japanese market and will be sold exclusively in that country in strictly limited numbers.
The Santorini Edition is positioned as a commemorative model tied to the arrival of the updated Z06 in Japan. Chevrolet confirmed that the special edition will be limited to just 20 units total, evenly split between 10 coupes and 10 convertibles. All examples will be built in right-hand-drive configuration and sold only through authorized Chevrolet dealerships in Japan.
Visually, the Santorini Edition distinguishes itself through a bespoke color combination inspired by the Greek island of Santorini. The exterior is finished in Blade Silver Metallic, identified by color code GKA, a shade newly introduced for the 2026 model year. Inside, the cabin features a Santorini Blue interior color scheme, creating a strong contrast with the silver exterior. Additional blue accents include Santorini Blue seat belts and blue-painted brake calipers, further reinforcing the special-edition theme.
The Santorini Edition is based on the top-tier 3LZ trim level and will be offered in both coupe and convertible body styles. In addition to its exclusive appearance elements, the model incorporates the revised interior design introduced for the 2026 Corvette lineup in Japan.
Power comes from Chevrolet’s naturally aspirated 5.5-liter LT6 V8 engine, which produces 670 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. This engine remains a defining feature of the Z06, delivering high-revving performance without forced induction. The drivetrain and mechanical specifications mirror those of the standard 2026 Corvette Z06 offered in the Japanese market.
Pricing reflects the model’s exclusivity and positioning. The coupe version of the Santorini Edition is priced at 29,000,000 yen, while the convertible carries a price of 31,000,000 yen, based on current exchange rates. With production capped at 20 units and availability limited to Japan, the 2026 Corvette Z06 Santorini Edition represents a rare, market-specific chapter in the Corvette’s global expansion.
